Contrary to popular belief, as a stylist I don’t spend the majority of my time shopping. Especially for myself – there simply isn’t enough time in my day.
Which is why I’ve come to appreciate the idea of fashion subscription boxes.
If you aren’t familiar with subscription boxes, it’s a very simple concept. Once a month you’re sent a box of goodies hand-picked for you. After perusing your selections you keep and pay for what you like and send back what you don’t.
This type of shopping service has become popular across all industries from fashion and style, to beauty and home decor.
So when the Milwaukee-based subscription box company Wantable reached out to me about reviewing one of their boxes, I was excited to see how the process would go and how on point my selections would be.
Wantable’s boxes specialize in makeup, intimates, and accessories. Each month their in-house and guest curators hand-pick beauty, fashion jewelry, and luxe intimates from hundreds of quality boutiques and vendors.
As their client, you get to take a short, yet detailed, style quiz within the category of your choice and receive 4-5 items selected for you by your in-house stylist.
Upon receiving the box and going through your selections you can keep what you love and return what you don’t – at no extra cost!
I decided to go with their July accessories box and was pleasantly surprised with my selections.
I received a chevron print circle scarf – perfect as a chic and breezy summer layer.
A turquoise and gold beaded necklace – which I’ve been wearing non-stop.
A rhinestone cocktail ring – that adds a touch of glam.
And rhinestone stud earrings – perfect for dressing up a casual summer look.
Overall, I love all my items and I found them to be very on point to my answers in the style quiz.
I appreciate they’re targeting a niche in the growing domain of fashion subscription boxes by specifically offering accessories, intimates, and makeup.
You can never have too many accessories, intimates, or makeup! Am I right, ladies?
