Hello everyone! Today’s post and outfit is brought to you by Eboni of The Fashionista Next Door and her Style Me Friday link up! This week’s inspiration was Olivia Palermo’s bright coat! Now we all know I have a bright orange coat of my own that has been showcased many times on the blog (here, here, and here for example), we’ve also talked about how you can incorporate brights into your winter wardrobe. So this time I wanted to try and be a little creative and not just through on my usual coat, as Eboni said it wasn’t about having a bright coat, it was about capturing the spirit of the look. And what’s more spirited than some neon color-blocking in the winter?
I have to tell you, this week has been quite exhausting and my eyes were feeling extra heavy this morning, so throwing on some bright colors definitely helped wake me up and *brighten* 
my day. I was also glad for this challenge as I was struggling for some inspiration with my 30 pieces by the end of this week. I have the whole weekend off, but Chicago just dumped tons of snow on us, so I’m not sure if I’ll be doing much besides snuggling on my couch and having a Netflix marathon – DCT and I have taken to watching the cartoon version of X-Men every Saturday morning through the afternoon, yeah we’re nerds, but we like it
