I personally believe there is nothing better than a rainy day spent inside laying around the apartment. Just give me a good book/movie, a comfy sweater, a cup of tea and I’m set for the entire day. And that was pretty much my Sunday, which felt great as I haven’t had a purely lazy day in a long time and it just made it better that it was raining because it really made me not want to do anything
I (obviously) did get around to taking a few shots of my outfit during the brief moment I did leave the house. This is standard rainy day gear for me – cropped pants, flats, and a casual top. Can you believe that I’ve lived in Chicago for almost 3 years, Charleston for 6 years and I have never invested in a pair of rain boots. It’s not that I don’t like them, I just never felt the need for them. Which is weird seeing as Charleston gets tons of rain all year long and Chicago’s winter is no walk in the park. When I see girls walking around in them I always think, ‘I should get rain boots this year’, but eventually I forget that thought and end up buying items that are much more practical like 5-inch heeled booties
But maybe this year will be the year! I’ll keep everyone posted
Hope you all had a great weekend, it’s going to be a busy busy week but then it’ll be Europe time! And with that I’ll leave you with this little gem to start your week off right
HAPPY MONDAY!
‘Till Next Time…
